Deploy GoldPulse Pro The Right Way
A professional MT4/MT5 installation and activation workflow for ForexDevice GoldPulse PRO (v1.03), designed to help you move from a clean MetaTrader terminal to a correctly configured, monitored and controlled XAUUSD deployment.
Before You Begin
GoldPulse PRO is an automated XAUUSD breakout engine. Installation should be treated as a deployment process rather than simply copying an Expert Advisor file into MetaTrader. Complete the preparation steps below before attaching the EA to a live chart.
Prepare → Install → Configure → Validate → Activate
Follow the sequence in order. Changing inputs without understanding their purpose can materially change the EA’s operating behavior.
Terminal Preparation
Log in to the trading account on which you intend to run GoldPulse PRO. Confirm that the terminal is receiving live market data and is connected to the broker server.
Open Tools → Options → Expert Advisors and ensure that automated trading is permitted.
If the GoldPulse PRO package or terminal configuration requires DLL permissions, enable Allow DLL imports in the Expert Advisors settings.
Verify that the terminal shows an active broker connection before continuing. Do not proceed with deployment while the platform is offline or repeatedly disconnecting.
Install GoldPulse PRO (v1.03)
In MetaTrader select File → Open Data Folder, open the appropriate directory and copy the supplied GoldPulse PRO Expert Advisor file into it. Then restart MetaTrader or refresh the Navigator → Expert Advisors section.
XAUUSD Chart Deployment
Your broker may use a suffix or alternative Gold symbol naming convention. Always attach the EA to the actual Gold symbol supplied by your broker.
Use a dedicated chart for the EA so that its dashboard and automated execution remain easy to monitor.
Use the timeframe specified by your GoldPulse PRO deployment profile or product documentation. Do not assume that changing the timeframe automatically improves performance. The EA’s trading cycle and calculations are governed by its internal rules and configured inputs.
Attach the Expert Advisor
- Open the Navigator window.
- Expand Expert Advisors.
- Locate GoldPulse PRO v1.03.
- Drag the EA onto the dedicated XAUUSD chart.
- Open the Inputs tab before clicking OK.
- Enter your license key where required for live deployment.
- Review the configuration carefully before enabling live execution.

Adjusting inputs within your MetaTrader properties panel alters execution behavior, position sizing, and risk characteristics. Always test modifications thoroughly on demo environments first.
Do Not Optimize Every Input at Once
GoldPulse PRO contains interacting components. Dynamic lot sizing, breakout distance, protection levels, trailing behavior and trading frequency can influence the overall characteristics of the deployment.
License & Account Validation
Enter the license information supplied with your purchase and allow GoldPulse PRO to perform its account validation.
Demo and Strategy Tester environments are handled separately by the EA’s licensing architecture, allowing evaluation and backtesting workflows.
Activate Automated Execution
Confirm the EA is attached to the intended XAUUSD chart.
Confirm the required automated trading permissions are enabled.
Confirm your license information has been entered correctly for live deployment.
Verify that the EA dashboard appears on the chart and that the platform is connected to the broker.
Enable the main AutoTrading / Algo Trading control only after the configuration has been reviewed.
Deployment Verification
A correctly deployed EA should provide visible operating information through its chart dashboard. Review the platform and dashboard before allowing the system to operate unattended.
Correct Gold symbol is displayed.
License status is correctly recognized for the account.
Configured minimum and maximum lot values are visible.
Calculated breakout information is displayed.
TP, SL and trailing configuration are visible.
Active positions and pending orders can be monitored.
The Automated Execution Lifecycle
Once deployed, GoldPulse PRO follows a predefined sequence rather than requiring the trader to manually choose Buy or Sell direction.
Cycle Evaluation — waits for the next eligible trading interval.
Exposure Check — verifies that existing EA positions and pending orders are clear.
Market Measurement — evaluates current market activity using the EA’s volatility calculations.
Structure Creation — prepares the two-sided breakout structure.
Directional Activation — price movement can activate the corresponding breakout side.
Trade Management — configured SL, TP and optional trailing protection manage the activated position.
Structure Completion — once the EA’s exposure is clear, the system waits for the next eligible cycle.
Running GoldPulse PRO on a VPS
For automated trading that needs to remain active while your personal computer is offline, a properly configured Windows VPS can provide a persistent MetaTrader environment. The VPS should remain connected, with MetaTrader running and the EA attached to the intended chart.
If GoldPulse PRO Does Not Start
EA appears in Navigator but does not trade
Check that automated trading is enabled, the terminal is connected to the broker, the EA is attached to the correct XAUUSD chart, the license information is valid for live deployment, and that the configured exposure conditions allow a new structure.
The EA file is not visible in Expert Advisors
Recheck the correct MQL4/MQL5 Experts directory, then restart MetaTrader or refresh the Navigator window.
License status is not accepted
Verify that the license key has been entered exactly as supplied and that the EA is running on the account intended for the license. If the issue remains, contact ForexDevice support.
Pending orders are disappearing quickly
This is expected when the pending-order lifetime is configured to a short duration. The current default is 30 seconds. The purpose is to prevent stale breakout structures from remaining active after the original market condition has changed.
The EA is not opening another structure
GoldPulse PRO is designed to check its existing exposure before creating another structure. Active positions or pending orders associated with its Magic Number can therefore prevent a new setup from being deployed.
